I ate a steak with a salad and it was delicious

Dear Saalbau host, for the sake of order: There must have been another guest who complained that I didn't let the roast beef go back, but said to your waiter when it was cleared: "Roast beef too thin and not medium", that was it. PS If there is a complaint, it would suit the boss to clarify the complaint himself After eating a good goose last year, I was very disappointed this time. I will no longer eat roast beef in the Saalbau, it was quite thin so that the medium I ordered was not possible and was then served without sauce (!!!), there is a star for the fried potatoes. Salad dreesing didn't look like it was homemade.

A total letdown !! Pepper steak in calvado sauce with croquettes and salad. The best part: The croquettes !! Meat fibrous and far from medium = absolutely cheap meat. Here a tomahawk steak is offered for 30 euros ..... how is that supposed to work? The salad comes out of the refrigerator, is served ar ....... cold, without any spices or herbs with a dash of ready-to-use salad sauce from the supermarket !? Price: 26.90 euros. The whole thing wasn't even worth half! Unmotivated service comes to collect ..... he knows why he doesn't ask at any of the tables in the very sparsely frequented beer garden (in the best beer garden weather) whether it was tasty or whether everything was okay, etc ..... He seems to know the answers !! Ashamed to even offer such a meal !! It's about time for a new tenant !! Addition to the answer from the Saalbauwirt on September 21, 2020: Not everyone can take the truth :-) I don't even know what you want!? There was a discussion at the table, but you didn't dare join us at the table !? You have not shown up and are now spitting big sounds ??? Break away from your cooking skills from the nineties with your ready-made salad from the cold store. The only thing that was and is outrageous between the two of us is the food you were offered and the prices !! Take a look at the rosin from time to time ..... you will find yourself with the mistakes ;-) Have a good life!!

The food is world class and the service is exemplary. A real insider tip. We were invited to a wedding there and were so enthusiastic about the food that we had to go out to eat again soon and convince ourselves that it tastes so good even in "normal operation". We were not disappointed. The platter for two is particularly recommended. The head chef lives his job and sometimes shows himself to his guests :-). The beer garden is also recommended. Always my pleasure. Thanks for the great ambience in every respect.

Nice, shady beer garden. Very large selection of dishes: steaks, salads, Swabian specialties, cold dishes and dessert. Friendly staff. Perfect taste. We recommend.

My 350g rump steak was great and very tasty. There are other weight classes for the rump steak. And the other dishes in our team looked very good too.

Swabian cuisine at its finest. Lentils with spaetzle even in large format and a sensational Gaisburger march also as a terrine for the hungry

The birthday party of our daughter we celebrated this year in Saalbau. It was a complete success. Very tasty chanterelles, fresh salad with a good sauce. The landlady is fast, attentive and very friendly. She still finds time for a few personal words at each table. We will be back and hope for a warm summer evening to sit outside.

Excellent food, fresh and decent portions. Highly recommended. The price performance ratio is very good.

Old inn with 80s charm. For this atmosphere a little expensive. The food was good and plentiful.

The filet steak is really good and the prices are also humane.
